The shape of the letter “V” means “female” in three different cultures and times
The shape of the letter “V” means “female” in three different cultures and times: Discovered by Denise Schmandt-Besserat, this first character is a Neolithic token that means “female sheep” and is circa 6,400 years old. A circle with a plus means “sheep”; the addition of the “V” adds the meaning “female.” This substantiates that “V” and “female” have a relationship for circa 6,400 years. The second character is Sumerian cuneiform for “woman, female” and is used in many words including “spouse,” “insulting,” “pure,” “plow,” “waterfall,” etc. The third character 勾 is in the Chinese word for “sexy” which is not a “good sexy” but more a biased “slut sexy”: 勾人的勾或者勾引的勾。This character includes 勹 which legend says is a spoon but really is conceptually a circle with the contents being the significant material. In this case the contents are “V”-shaped, so the implication is this is a vagina and the meaning is “bad sexy” because women’s genitalia is historically and currently used to signify sexual licentiousness and evil.
